    I know this story doesn't sound good. But think about this. What if the Federal reserve was under the control of the government. A politician would say we need money to run the government and tell them to print more money. What happens when that happens? Uncontrolled inflation. That is exactly what happened in Germany in the 1930s. With the people in the federal government the way they are now I have no doubt that would happen.
