  • Help me make an offer for this T/A!

Here's the scoop. The guy selling it has a mortgage business and that ain't doing so hot. The TA has 47K on it and has the following mods:
    Loudmouth
    A4
    WS6
    Tower Brace
    K&N Intake (slp?)
    12 bolt Tranny
    A- Pillar
I think he said it had slp headers and duals.

He wants 22K for it no way!
    I'm thinking 16K

KBB in excellent condition is 15.3K

I want this car! The dyno sheets he showed me puts it at 400HP. All paperwork maintained. Note this car is NOT the anniversary car.

The special model in 2002 was yellow. That's the 1999 30th anniversary car. They came with blue tinted chrome wheels, but from what I remember they were known to chip over time. That's probably why they've been replaced.

He already said it wasn't an anniversary car. You're right about the wheels. They seemed to get messed up easily.

I say the car is worth $12-13K. The main reason is the fact that it's modified. Technically, the value of the car is what the actual market value is for the car, less what it would take to put the car back to stock. Modifications don't usually add value, they point the out the fact that the car has probably been driven harder than if it were bone stock.

Don't let your desire to have the car blind your economic sense. And certainly don't let the seller see it. 16k is at the top of end of what it is worth.

Keep in mind when you get over 16k you are getting into the Vette price range.

                    JEFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might have found me my next car! I looked at the black vette and realized it has a 412 area code! I am going to look at it at the dealership soon! The only problem is it is white not black, same specifications.

You know I'm not sure what it is. Something is wrong. Either the picture is right and the description is wrong or the other way around. Hey it can't hurt to look.

The picture is wrong. The description fits the white car, not the black. He sent me pictures. I am not too crazy about the red interior, if it was something else it might have been a strong possibility.

I checked out the vette, no way I could live with the red interior.
