So the governor of Florida has been against the drilling off Florida coast lines because he was afraid it would hurt the tourism industry in Florida. Now the cost of traveling to Florida because of gasoline prices has caused people to not travel to Florida. So the cost of gasoline is so high that it is causing the tourism industry to suffer and now the governor wants the restrictions for drilling off shore lifted to lower the price of gasoline to get people to travel to Florida.
