...in regards to school. i am entering my third semester (pursuing my B.Sci. in Mechanical engineering) My goal is to become a designer(Vehicle Line Engineer) for GM at the Chevrolet Corvette Platform.... Perhaps the best job in the world?. i have several questions that i feel would be useful if answered by people who aren't looking for my tuition money.
1. With a goal so high, what degree(s) should I aim for?
>Prior corvette Chief Engineer Dave McClellan went to Wayne State
Univ. in Detroit, then to MIT, then to Sloan School of Management.
2. Where do I start?
> i have heard that getting an internship with an engineering company is a good way to go, but would it satisfy my fututre employer?
3. Who else can I talk to, and what other questions should i ask?
Thank you!
