I guess being a preffered customer means that they blow in your ear before shafting you- way to tell them to take a hike- the poor salesman already had that commission spent....2001 Z28 A4 - 160 deg t-stat, 3.42 gears, WS6 sway bars, rear springs and shocks, UMI SFC's, Torque Arm and STB, leather Firebird seats, Borla, SLP Y-pipe and lid, ZO6 cam and springs - 332 RWHP and 346 RWTQ, not bad for 'almost stock' - work in progress

This is the primary reason for their current situation. Pricing is announced on a vehicle, and if it's hot enough the markup is rediculous. The ZR1 is suffering from this problem. I'll bet the Camaro suffers from this problem, and they kill it after just a couple years.Originally posted by msfyter

they did it with the solstice gxp in 07 and 08.... my dealer tacked on 1900.00..i refused to pay it and started walking out... they dropped it..
