Ok so I'm new to heat pumps. I have two 2 stage heat pumps in the house we bought and last month the electricity bill was pretty steep with $300 compared to what I was used to back in Canada.
Both heat pumps have their own thermostat and during the day I have them set at 69 or 70. At night I set them to 63 - 64.
I looked at the manual and there are some settings that can be changed on the thermostats.
The temperature differential on stage 1 is set to 1 deg and 2 deg to the 2 stage with a time delay of 20 minutes.
Any settings or heating tips that make this a less energy eating system besides setting it to 65 and wearing a jacket?
