  • "Project TransAm" website is gone

Probably not a lot of people here that go back far enough to remember Kelly Drown and his "Project TransAm" website. It was a good reference source in the late 90's/early 00's for 4th F-Body modifications, particularly the LT1 cars. Over recent years, participation has been falling off. It became part of Kelly's Central Oklahoma F-Body site. I was a Super Moderator for years, but hadn't posted much over the past couple years.

Went there yesterday, and the site came up as "domain suspended".

    Old links were:

    http://www.projecttransam.com/

    http://www.ws6zxr.com/

Maybe it will be back... maybe it won't. Probably a sign of the times, fading interest in the LT1, etc. We need to realize how lucky we are that the f-body site is holding together.

Kelly's photography website is still active, and there are a couple photos of his WS6 there.

That was a fun site - it helped a lot of people when the cars were still young and got a lot of people started on their first modification projects.
