Failed the CDL Skills test because

be4 i took off the parking brake i put my foot on the service brakes

she then tried to tell me how the air brake system works( she said when i push the service brake pedal with the parking brake applied i will blow out the air cans cuz there is already air in the cans holding the brakes)


she musta been new to the whole CDL scene because every CDL driver i talked to, has always done this, because when the parking brake is applied the air is blocked off and released from the air cans.

oh and she tried to deadline the truck i was using because the guy who rode up there with me(has Class A for over 30 years) had a copy of his medical card and not the original(which is at the company) so needless to say, i failed because of her lack of knowledge and now gotta repay the 30$ fee

o well im out 30$ and 4 hrs worth of work, and fuel for the trip to the site(90 min ride) so looks like another trip to the local DMV to pay another 30$ for the skills test and re submit the form and then another trip to the test site

I believe you should file a formal complaint and that she needs to find a different job. My friend has his CDL and says that you are absolutely right.

just makes me mad because i should be at the DMV gettin my CDL not paying for another test

we complained to the DOT and the DMV. All i can do, is go back up there and make her jaw drop when i ace the test
