At least in California you don't have to contend with salt on the roads from thw winter weather! Onc ethey put all that salt and other anti-skid materials on the road, then the rain and melting snow gets on there and it sprays all ove the place..... you should see my car after 3 or 4 MONTHS of that, not days, months! There's a reason they call it the rust belt.
