in fact, several have hit the drag strip already..the numbers are pretty impressive.. .the LS3 SS/RS broke into the 12's at 111mph trap

As much as I don't like the trapezoidal grille (seen on everything from Chevy Luminas to Camrys... both of which are reliable, but totally forgettable cars), I sure am glad they have a car that drives the right set of wheels other than the G8, Sky/Solstice twins, Corvette, and some Cadillacs.
Supposedly the next-gen Impala was to be rwd, but due to impending EPA regs (thanks government...
) they're keeping with the lighter fwd setup.
