spider bites?

hey wierd ? but my 22month old son just in the past 2 days showd up with these wierd bites on him with 3 on his legs and one on his neck. anyone ever seen them? he seems to be fine with no fever or anyother type of symptoms.

Looks like bed bug bites...they are similar to the one my brother had.

heard that too but was told that they normally bite in patches of 3's. oh i need to add we dont have any pets and he isnt itching or rubbing them. actually its like he doesnt even know they are there. its wierd and non of us have them either. we were goin to go the dr but we called and thier closed.

Just keep an eye out for fever. No fever no foul...My oldest son swells and gets a fever anytime a bug bites him.

I was bit by two spiders a couple years ago. One was a wood spider, the other was a brown recluse. The wood spider bite really just itched A LOT and turned almost purple around the bite and went away after a few days. The brown recluse bite was extremely painful, followed by a numbing feeling up my leg (where I was bitten) then fever and nasuea.

A baby's skin is so sensitive, even the smallest of bug bites react differently than they would to us.

Not sure what kind of bites they are but they're not bed bugs. You can easily check around and underneath the mattress for bed bugs, and they're not difficult to spot.

I get the same thing. I woke up today with one on my neck, multiple bites on my legs, and a few on my left arm. I've been itching my arm and legs like crazy all day and I've never figured out what kind of bites they are, but I get them ALL THE TIME.

Not only that, but I'm the ONLY person in my house that gets them. My gf sleeps next to me every night and she's never been bit.

If you find out what it is let me know.

I've seen similar bites on people with particularly sensitive skin, that turned out to be caused by so called "paper fleas".

There really is no such thing as a paper flea though. They are a type of mite. People who work in print shops deal with them a lot. For those of us with tougher hides, they can bite us, and the bite doesn't even show up. You might not have even noticed the bites, had the skin around your son's bites not become inflammed.

As already has been suggested, just keep an eye on his temp. Also, keep an eye on the actual sites of the bites to make sure the inflammation around them does not get worse, until you can get the little guy into the doc's to have him checked out.

yeah hes ok. said it was probably skeeters. no bed bugs here and iv had deer ticks so i know what to look for there. were still keepin an eye on him just to make sure. took his temp again today and its fine. it bothered us more than him. i followed him into his room today just to see him as i walked in the room to jump off of the dresser about 3 1/2 feet high!! landed on his feet and fell on his but and got up and laughed when i yelled what are you doin and went about his way!! thanks for the concern and all the help guys. means alot! there pretty much gone now.
