WE, the wolfdog community of the U.S. need the help of those willing to step up and voice an opinion. Please, lets not argue in this thread. If you don't want to help or don't believe in our plight, just move on without nasty comments. Thanks in advance.

This will include any animal that Animal Control thinks looks like a wolfdog. We all know that most AC officers can not tell the difference between NAID's, wolfdogs, malamutes, huskys, german shepherd mixes, etc. DNA testing shows that only 2/10's of a % difference between a wolf and dog... and the test costs over 3k... per animal! How many folks can afford to do that...? How many public AC offices will do that to save putting down a non wolfdog?
We must stop HSUS buying legislators. We have been successful in some states already over the years.
Education is the key...and the wolfdog community is reaching out constantly on education of those in animal control authority, they just dont understand the breed. Wolfdogs are no more dangerous than german shepherds, in fact, in most cases, less dangerous. They are skittish of strangers and will run from people they dont know.
California is second in wolfdog population in the U.S. Fla is first...(I know, weird). A lot of animals and owners will be effected if this takes place. And a lot of non wolfdogs, Norther breeds, that look like wolfdogs... will end up caught in it..
