  • Have any of you ZAINO users tried Ultima?

I am a Zainoholic having been turned on to the products many years ago by Ken. But now one of the more respectable auto care sites is touting Ultima as being superior. http://www.autopia-carcare.com/zaino.html Has anyone tried this product?

Also, has anyone tried Z-CS http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...oduct_Count=10 which would seem to be a direct competitive product to Ultima

From quick glances...it's still wax based. Wax will never be as optically perfect or as durable as Zaino. Period...

    Haven't used Z-CS.

I'm happy with Zaino, There's no need for me to even try anything different.

I checked a bunch of other car forums and not too many people have come right out and said Ultima is superior to Zaino. About the only thing of consequence mentioned was the ease of use compared to Zaino but on a well maintained finish I find that hard to swallow since it doesn't take long to apply or buff out.

I don't intend to change but the only thing I find somewhat confusing these days is the multitude of products that Sal offers these days. I really like the idea of Z-CS but don't think I want to use it unless some of you can give testimony to it compared to other Zaino products.

Anyways..........I will remain a Zainholic because it works for me and thats all that matters.

                  Zaino?

Nothing beats Nu-Finish. I only have to apply it once a year!

That's because they would have no ground to stand on in saying that. Ultima is inferior in every way other than it's easier to apply. It's possible that it's better than turtle wax, nu finish, black ice, etc. but the fact that Zaino layers on makes it unique and I don't know of anything else on that market that compares.

Zaino is what it is for a reason. I wouldn't even waste time trying the other stuff. I think they compare it to Zaino and use the Zaino name as a sales technique in justifying it's high price tag.
