My Mom is also looking for a golden. Our golden (Trixie) just recently passed away from a cancerous mass in her nasal cavity, and we just cant stand not having one. Its not really trying to replace her; Nothing can replace her, she was like a family member to us. We would just like to give a golden in need a good home. Plus, our 2nd dog is in desperate need of a friend.

Is your wife part of a golden rescue? We've been trying to apply to a bunch of different rescues, but so far, haven't had any luck. Please let me know!
