how i hate the snow

started my route at 3:30am yesterday didnt finish till 5:30 last night . when i got there u couldnt see a foot in front of ya, when i left, it was a thunderstorm with hail! gotta love new england weather

That thunder last night was strange. It was like apocoliptic weather patterns. We get 6" of snow, then freezing rain, then driving rain, then a thunderstortm with hail to end the day.

I believe there is an old saying... "If you don't like the weather in New England, give it a minute".

I feel your pain... that is why I decided to run away from it! Life is too short to be some place where the weather is usually lousy. Best move I ever made was leaving New england for Sunny SoCal

it can be fun, esp when you dont gotta work the next day and a friend ask you if you want to go "snowing" (muding in the snow)

Snow and ice can be fun, if you don't have to get somewhere on a schedule- I don't mind driving in it, been living here for more than 5 decades, so I know how to handle it- I usually don't even lock the truck into 4WD unless it gets really nasty-

It does mean that I don't drive the Camaro, once they start salting- it takes a little break until March or so-

When the traction goes away, it makes your vehicle feel like it has 500 RWHP- you can spin the tires anywhere, drive sideways at 20 MPH, do wild donuts and fishtails- lots of fun as long as you don't have to drive in rush hour traffic with all the drivers that don't know how to drive in it-

Snow can get old really fast, but I'll take it as it comes along with seasons. I like going through actual seasons like Fall and Spring. I've lived here all my life so it's really no big deal to me anymore. In fact, I even enjoy the snow once in a while.

yea but when its a $200K truck that weighs 20 tons, the snow is a PITA, today with the little dusting we got, i had to sand in front of the dumpster a couple times so i could dump it without sliding sideways
