    Snapped a great photo this morning

    I was out early this morning and listening to this hawk making a fuss. I saw where he was, perched atop my neighbor's TV antenna. Yeah, there are people out here in the sticks that still use them. I was about to take a RC flight and I see this hulk sitting in a nearby dead tree. I ran and grabbed my camera, managed to get fairly close before he spooked, and snapped a few photos. Even with a cheap digital camera it turned out great.

      wow thats an amazing picture. It's kinda scary to know that those things are flying around. I can't imagine a small child would have any fighting chance against that thing. They're beautiful but they scare the crap outta me

            Very cool. I got some pretty good shots of bald eagles last time I was in Canada. Awesome creatures for sure.

              Nice pic!!!!

              I've been trying for months to get a bald eagle pic no luck so far how ever I did manage to get this osprey pic while at the 1000islands.

                Next to wolves, Bald Eagles are at the top of my list for favorite animals.

                Funny you posted this. In this weeks newspaper, they had a photo someone sent in of a Bald Eagle a few miles from my house, in the next town over. We haven't seen many Eagles in Central NJ in - well, forever.

                    Bottom line is that I got lucky. I've tried for years to get a pic of a blad eagle in the wild. They don't normally allow you to even get close. This one watched me approach, kept an eye on me at all times and the instant I got too close, off her/she went. It's a shame the pic I got in flight was blurry.

                      My son's girlfriend got a few photos of one. I've seen them near my house before, but never been able to get a photo myself, I'm usually driving when I see it. She was in her backyard taking photos of their chickens.
