Joe... How cold has it been down there recently? I heard you guys have actually had to turn your heat on!

My cousin lives in Jax, and he's had temps of 20 degrees at night. He said he feels like he's back in New England.

Cold! there's frost all over everything this morning, we're without power so I'm running on the backup generator that I bought as a result of the hurricanes. This bites!

No power? I hope everything is okay. Is the loss of power expected for long?

Finally got power restored around 10am. I had already gotten cleaned up and had one foot out the door on my way to work.

Just an inconvenience, not like we're encased in snow. The Turbo Buick runs really stout in the cold air too.

That's one of the perks of living up north. I loved driving the WS6 in the fall. For one, the scenery here is beautiful in fall, but mostly because the T/A ran sooo well!

Oh the cold dense air makes for some horse power! That is the one thing I really like about fuel injection. It's ability to "rejet" on the fly. This morning I pulled out and from about a 25 mph roll stomped it and it just blew the tires off it. Got to love that performance mode on the Corvette. I'd like to to a dyno run at 20 degrees F.

I get double the effect. not only is the air entering the inlet colder to start with, the intercooler further chills the temps for some pretty significant increases.

                          Gotta love a potent turbo!

Even my wife's 5 cylinder turbo Volvo runs better in these temps.

I still ready for spring though...
