Ice Fishing

went ice fishing saturday to relax with a friend and get my mind off things(me and the wife have split, another story for later) had fun, its towards the end of the season so it was kinda slow, but i got the biggest outta our group of 5, wish i did this earlier in the year, now i got the bug. anways we ended up with 5 bass and one yellow perch. the large mouth i got was 3.3lbs and 18.5" long, tims father caught a 6.75lb 23.5" large mouth two weeks earlier.

if you never went ice fishing, i recommend it, yea its cold, but when your runing from tip up to tip up and landing 25 bass in one hour(he went out in the afternoon) its the most fun and its kinda like a work out

there were perch and a couple northern pike, but we used live minnows, every now and then you catch a trout.

Nice catch. I like fishing as well, but I don't start until it's at least 60 degrees. I'm kind of a pansy when it comes to fishing weather.

haha we did this on warmaug(sp?), my great aunt has a house there and my buddy lives in kent so it made more sense
