  • Need help finding a superior sealant

I have spent all winter buffing and buffing and buffing yadayadayada. The car looks magnificent! The Menzerna SIP in combination with orange and white pads have really corrected the paint.

That said, I am not about to go to walmart and slap some $4 turtle wax on there and call it a day. I need a sealant that shows red very well with a deep gloss to it.

Hopefully someone here can give me a few tips on a decent product and how to use it.

    Disclaimer: I'm a Zaino Virgin!

Also embarrassing question: What's the difference between a sealant and a wax?

turtle wax.........LOL.. come on.. theres your mistake.. too much solvents.

you dont need a "sealant".. you need to switch from carnuba to polymer...zaino is a polymer with no solvents. its not water solvable... carnuba is! thats why the gloss is gone after a few washes..but not with zaino... it stays on, and it layers. the more layers, the wetter the look... it also fills swirls... and its 98% optically perfect, carnuba is only 80% at best.. so the true colors comes through...

you put all that hard work into the paint... dont p!$$ on it with turtle wax...

    just my 2 cents...

To avoid making another Zaino thread and to add to "Joshu's" question, what should new users buy from zaino? I've been trying to figure it out, but I can't seem to determine what the new user should buy without buying 1000 different zaino products. Thanks for any help! Definitly switching to zaino when the car comes out of hibernation.

Sounds too good to be true!

I'm on a budget right now but I'll probably go with this.
Thanks the help Ken, but it sounds too good to be true that all i do is put this stuff on and let it go and its 300X better than wax.

Also- that punisher logo on your pillar is subtle but sick

I never saw the Jake logo until you pointed it out. Nice touch, Ken!

Can you use the clay bar on plastic light lenses and wheels?
