  • Lowered her finally...

I forgot how high up this car sat until I looked at these pics side by side.

    Before

    After

    Before

    After

The quality of the afters isn't as good cuz I used my blackberry and not my digital camera but you get the picture.

    I'm happy.:w00t:

So now the entire suspension is pretty much new. Well, not all my bushings and links, but inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, sway bar links, front and rear shocks, and springs. I also have mostly BMR suspension for the other stuff.

Car rides like a dream, and I was pretty surprised, I didn't need to adjust my panhard rod which I found kinda odd.

These cars respond really well to aftermarket suspension components. It's pretty easy to see why GM was able to sell these cars for so much less than the equally powered Vettes...cost savings in the suspension.

With that said, they can handle with the best of them with a nice complement of matched underpinnings. An lowering them a bit...even better.

Thanks guys, bottomed out twice and knocked my catback out of the y pipe 2 days ago shortly after the second bottom out. The clamp holding it in was sitting a little too low so when I fixed it I had to reposition it.

I just gotta be a little more careful now.
