I've seen those on an RC airplane, but never full scale! Clearly it works, ought to become a requirement IMO.

I've been hearing about those systems for about 10 years now. It's great to hear they actually saved someone's life.

Maybe it's just me, but it didn't seem like he over g'd the airplane.

I was listening to a broadcast yesterday about how events seem to slow down when you're in a near death experience. Apparently your perception doesn't speed up, but your brain seems to record all the details that it would normally through out.
