  • Hmm, i think im getting older

me and the woman have been looking at houses lately(i spend most of free time on the weekend looking at different houses online and in person) we are lookin mostly at capes. but its come down to wether i should keep the mustang. im still trying to chase down the no start issue(it wont even start and stall now that i jumped the fuel pump relay) but i really dont have time to work on it much. between working 70 hours a week, house hunting and playing softball(hey its free beer ) i know i can get alot more for the car running then half running, espicially since its pretty much set up for drag. the problem is that i own my car and dont have a lone on it. i know if i get a house that the stang prob will just sit for a good long while till time/money free up. oh and did i mention we are gettin married next year

I am not sure what age it happened at, but at some point I went from wondering what I was going to do on my time off to wondering when I would find the time to do all the things that I needed to do. Mow the lawn, change the oil, pick up groceries, go shopping for beer, dog to the vet for shots, dentist, mail bills, an endless cycle. At least when I do get away, I know exactly WHAT I am getting away from. Free time is pretty precious- working full time, and trying to play in a couple volleyball leagues. The wife teases me about needing an appointment, but she is really pretty understanding. Just try and keep your priorities straight.

Well put! That was part of the thinking behind getting the truck a couple months ago.
