  • "The Last Thing A Bug Ever Sees"

    Hi, Folks.

It's been a while since I have posted, but I wanted to ask if anyone on the board has retained copies of High Performance Pontiac or Pontiac Enthusiast from 13 years ago when the 4th Gen cars were new. There was an advertisement on the back cover of a number of issues showing a face-on view of a WS6 Trans Am with the following caption:

"The Last Thing A Bug Ever Sees"

If you have such, I would like to borrow/buy it so I can have a poster made of it.

    Thanks.

    Roger

Let me check, there is a strong possibility that I do.
    Any idea which volume number?
Do you mean on the very back cover or inside the back cover?

      Thanks, Sneitzel.

If memory serves it was on (not inside) the back cover. Could have been anything from late '97 through '98, even '99.

I could have sworn that I kept all those copies, but I cannot seem to locate them now.

      Thanks for looking.

      Roger

      P.S. Ist "Sneitzel" Deutsch?

I do have every issue of HPP from 1994 through current....
The only thing on the back cover in that era is the standard advertisement from PST.

I looked inside the front and back covers and didn't find it there either. Most of that stuff was from Year One, OPG or Vortec.

        I'll look a little deeper...

          No luck.

I browsed through all 18 editions of HPP from 97, 98 and 99.

I never subscribed to Pontiac Enthusiast so I'm no help there.

At least you can remove HPP from your search.

I appreciate your efforts. Perhaps if they still exist, I will unearth my earlier issues of PE when I perform "storage area archeology" later this summer.

                That's it!

Thanks. The purple one is the one I had in mind (even if I didn't remember the exact wording).

And it is available at pontiacmall.com

                Many thanks, everyone.
