    Hoping anyone reading this came through the recent storms in the (extended) DC area unscathed.

    Other than some debris on my lawn to police, there was no damage at my house. Power was out for about 22 hours. Not long enough for major concern or inconvenience.

    Serious damage, though, to many properties in the area, mainly because of fallen trees.

    i heard them storms up north were pretty gnarly, i know where im living got skipped but other parts of Beaufort County and Savannah got hit pretty good

      So far we have been lucky here. Not far around some people have been out of power for days. Not good with 100 degree temperatures.
