  • How many Hardtop Formula's were produced?

    Hi everyone,
I have been searching for years for the production numbers on the 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula Hardtop with or w/o the WS6 pkg. Anyone out there found this info on the hardtop Formula? It has been elusive to me for years.
    Thanks Dan

Im not sure if this helps any, but what I find looks like 1996 had 3,335 formulas total, 2811 coupes and 524 converts

      Thanks Al,
It is good info. Where did you find it? I am actually looking for the production numbers for the Formula coupe without T-Tops, if anyone out there knows it would be appreciated. I have heard IIRC it is the 800 range, I am just trying to confirm this though.
      Thank You

I had a few build info lists saved from prev postings, couldnt find anything that broke it down further

I appreciate you replying to my post. Thank you. I just ordered "The Old Cars Price Guide" hoping there would be production numbers but it didn't. I had a copy of Pontiac Performance Magazine from 1998 that had run a few tech and how to articles on the 1996 Formula using a hartop for the project and I believe the magazine editor or author of the articles researched it, but I cant find those old magazines.
