My brother in law got his car wrapped in film last year and the edges started lifting after three months, so now he tells everyone horror stories, and it made me nervous about doing my own. I have a black Nissan Patrol that I use every day around Mussafah, and the front is already covered in tiny chips from trucks and loose gravel. I want to protect it, but I am scared of picking the wrong place. I looked around for a Trusted paint protection film installer in Musaffah, and honestly every page said the same thing, best quality, best price, so I could not tell who is real. What I want to know is how you check a shop before you hand over the keys. Do you ask to see cars they finished earlier? Is it a good sign if they have a clean, closed room for the work, or does that not matter? I heard dust under the film is the main reason for bubbles, so how do I spot a bad job when I collect the car? Also, which brand of film do they use, and does the warranty cover yellowing, peeling and lifted edges, or only some of them? Another question is the price. I have seen quotes that differ by almost double for the same car, so what makes the difference? Is it the film, the time or just the name of the shop? Should I cover the full car, or only the bonnet, bumper, mirrors and door edges to save money? How long should the job take, and can I wash the car in the first week? If you used a shop around here, please tell me what you paid, how the film looks now, and if you would go back to the same place. Plain answers help me most.
