  • Looking for a Camaro/Firebird

A buddy of mine informed me yesterday that within the next month or so, he was interested in picking up a 4th gen V6 camaro or firebird. It has to be a V6 though due to the fact he is in college and doesn't have enough money for gas/insurance.

Right now he owns a 2001 Hyundai Elantra that he is looking to get rid of as well. He was 41,XXX miles on it, and 20,000 or so of those are highway miles (from NIU college to Chicago and back many times). The car is in perfect shape. No problems whatsoever, oil changed regularly, no body damage, etc... Power everything with a sunroof as well, and it's a reddish/maroon in color. I'm sure he'd be interested in a trade of some sort as well.

It would be a preferance to be in the midwest area to make this work.

If anyone is interested, reply, shoot me a pm, email, whatever works.

    Thanks
    Chris

I have a red V6 97 firebird with only 44,000 miles on it that may be for sale shortly. Paint as close to show room condition as can be just a minor stone chip or two. Interior has a few minor flaws but nothing major. I live in the Quad-City area Moline, IL. About two hours southwest of Chicago. Email me if your interested frazl21@aol.com

Thanks for all of the replies. I talked to my friend about them all, and he has changed his mind (due to a little persuasion by me). He's now looking for an LT1 firebird or camaro. If anyone has an LT1 they are looking to sell, he is very interested. Auto is a plus, but not mandatory, and being located somewhere near chicago or at least a reasonable distance away is a plus as well.

Please PM or leave a post if anyone is interested.

          Thanks again guys,
          Chris

I appreciate the response, but I think $7,400 is a bit out of his price range.

              Thanks Again

                  Hey,
4300 is definitely right around his range, but I think he doesn't want to buy any car unless he can test drive it and what not. I will make sure to give him the link though and run it by him.

                  Thanks for the response
