  • Many LT1 parts for sale!!

Call me crazy, but I just rebuilt a perfectly fine LT1 for the purposes of forging the bottom-end to handle supercharger boost. Anyways, the car and motor had 24,000 miles in it before I took it apart!! All the parts mentioned below have been checked by VERY KNOWLEDABLE engine people, and are literally PERFECT!! Everything listed below is for sale, no set prices, I am open to any offers!! - Just really need to get rid of this perfectly good stuff to recover some of the massive expenses I had this past winter! FYI - NO supercharged miles are on any of these parts either. So write back or let me know if anyone is interested in anything, everything is off of a 1997 LT1:

    -8 connecting rods (24,000 miles, off a '97 LT1, not a mark on them)

    -8 pistons in excellent shape.

-stock exhaust manifolds, Y-pipe, dual cat-convertors (no rust, perfect)

-Stock LT1 torque converter, (1200 stall I think?)

-MSD 6A performance ignition (this only has about 10,000 miles on it, had to replace it with a boost retarded ignition with the supercharger).

-rocker arms, push rods, etc. all in PERFECT shape.

-Venum 36 lb. fuel injectors, these only literally have 1,500 miles on them, they just arent gonna cut it for my current set-up.

Ok I think that is it, keep in mind that the everything has 24,000 miles on it at most and I'm willing to let this stuff go CHEAP, becuase i have no use for it and no room to store it!!

how much boost are you planning on running, I thought the stock lt1 bottom end was pretty good at handling good amounts of boost...

I am planning on running around 10-12 lbs. of boost. With the stock pistons and compression, it would not be long before I would have had to do a rebuild anyways.
