I'm selling my 79 Trans Am WS6. It's a 301 4 barrel w/TH350 automatic transmission and 3.08 LSD. It's cameo white with black interior. Has cruise control, power windows, and rear defroster.
Painted 2 years ago, and had new graphics and Pontiac emblem installed 4 months later. New grilles installed this summer. No rust!
Replaced carpet/padding/sound deadening, rear package tray, and headliner. Installed accuform dash cover over dash. Replaced seats with Corbeau Baja SS race seats with 5 point harness provisions. Also replaced door grab handles and door handle cups, as well as door panel bird emblems. All gauges work, and engine turned dash still has "radial tuned suspension" emblem.
Replaced engine at 82000 miles with rebuilt, engine was assembled with fel-pro gaskets. Installed melling high pressure oil pump, and high output water pump. Also installed new fuel pump. Exhaust manifolds were planed before reinstalling to make for a good seal, and are attached with SS bolts, washers and lock washers. Entire ignition system Dist/wires/plugs/coil replaced. Starter also replaced. Engine runs great.
Battery and cables replaced 5 months ago.
Transmission pan replaced with chrome type with drain plug and rubber gasket. Check valve and filter also replaced. Transmission does not slip, shifts smoothly.
Has 4 wheel discs as part of the WS6 package. Master cylinder, front brakes, and parking brake cables replaced.
15 X 8 snowflake rims are in good condition, I sanded and polished the aluminum part and waxed the gold painted sections. Installed new lugnuts. Kelley charger tires have 70% tread left.
Replaced 8 track with JVC KDS-550 40W x 4 CD player and put Pioneer 6 X 9 speakers in the rear window with wooden boxes underneath in trunk.
Installed Flowmaster American Thunder SS mandrel bent exhaust with H-Pipe 8 months ago. Sounds great!
Things that are not finished. A/C compressor is not installed, but is included. Cruise control button is broken off, but underhood hardware is still there.
Asking $6900 obo.
