A Possible Solution...
In cold weather, my car will stall when pulling away from an intersection. i thinks it's caused by either i loose vacuum line, the timing is off, or the accelerator pump is acting up. Is there any way to test for these without taking too much stuff apart?

Okay . . . here's my best guess. You've got a 305 from an '86 Caprice. . . .Is it 4-BBL Rochester carb? Check your jets and see if the carb needs cleaning. A dirty gummed-up carb will result in less fuel flow, upon accelleration, the fuel level is so low, the carb empties out resulting in the stall. Clogged Fuel Filter can do the same thing. Check these things out and let us know what happens? Also, check your choke?

I have a 4-BBl Rochecster Quadrajet carb, it doesnt have a serial number because it's a rebuild, it doesnt have the mixture control solenoid either, so it's unplugged, the EGR is unplugged, and i'm not sure if the ECM is even operational. What would this lead to?
