Help a girl out!
Hey, ok my boyfriend's birthday is coming up in April, and I want to get him something nice for his car. He's got a 99 SS M6. He had been looking into getting a car cover for it for quite some time, but never could find the right one for the right price I guess. I know he wants one that is preferably factory, made for a camaro, and would really like it to say "ss" on the front. I really know nothing about car covers. What should I look for, and what is a decent price to pay for one? (He needs it because his car gets parked in the garage, and when his mom goes out there to do laundry or something she bumps it and he gets pissed cause she'll accidently scratch it or something...understandable, but I feel bad for her so I wanna help out and get him a present at the same time). Let me know what I need and all that, or if you have one you'd like to get rid of! Thanks so much.

u wanna get him shorty edlebrock headers instead?? they bolt right on to his stock exhaust and will make it sound pretty and get some power

You should look on www.slponline.com you will find the cover I think he is talking about. They carry the cover that came with some SS's, and it has the SS logo on the front.Comment

Yeah, I'd have to talk to a friend about using their account though..I usually use his when buying something!! And I have to watch to make sure he isn't bidding on the same one.. that could be bad.

SLP has these, but they're are pricey. What kind of budget are you working with?

Well, I'm not sure what the budget is yet...somewhere between 100-200, preferably 100-150, but that's why I'm starting early..takin a little out of my paycheck. His birthday isn't til April. I looked at that one on the SLP website and it was 170, I think. I really wish I could find one that said "SS". The only ones I've seen that say that though are 35th anniversary covers. Oh, and do you still have those xenon headlight housings? Hate to bring it up, but the guy we ordered it from shipped one set, and they were destroyed in shipping so he tried to send another set, but his supplier went out of business. We got refunded, but now I don't know where to find them!White 1994 Camaro
