Wonder how fast are cars would be if they were a 1,000 lbs. less in weight. Any ideas on 0 to 60 and quarter mile times?

quick math states 1/10 of a second for every 100 pounds lost so it would shave off one second? but probably just under

stock 1/4 mile should range from 14.2~14.8 depending on track, tires, driver, conditions, altitude.

When I got mine smogged on the Smog II dyno, the machine supposedly weighed me in at 3900 lbs I don't know how they can weigh a car on 1 axle though so I'm thinking it's not all that accurate. However, I do know that fully loaded A4 T/As are not light at all.
I think the guy at ws6.com weighed his at ~3750 lbs.

Mine came in at 3450 lbs. Roll onto the scale at the track and simply subtract the driver weight to get yours.

that is why i stick to 3rd gens. most cars have a 200lbs head start on a 4th gen and a lot more of the car unbolts than in a 4th gen. seems when they made the unibody stiffer they added a lot of steel.
