Get it scanned like Chris said. It helps if you post your car info here year and such, so we know if it is an LT1 or LS1. I am not so good to tell from your picture. If it is an LT1 (like 94 or 95) you can check the Air Pump fuse to see if it blew. That is really common for that engine and it will throw a code and SES.

      Good Luck

But a blown air fuse will not make the engine run rough.

correct, wont it make the idle lope and make the coolant fans come on?

I'll guess from the info supplied (blinking SES light) that the car is a 96 or 97 OBD-II. Generally an indication of a misfire. A scan will show you what caused the light. If it is a misfire, it will show which cylinders are misfiring, or if it is a "random" misfire.

But as a helpful suggestion, PLEASE include the year of your car, trans type and any major mods when you ask a tech question.... that way no one has to guess. It's fairly easy to put together a "signature" for that purpose.

I dont recall for sure if my fans came on, but it ran just fine when the fuse blew and triggered the light. I put a new fuse in it and the SES light went away.

If the light is blinking, not good. It is a catalyst damaging misfire. Basically means shut the car off!
