stock head unit or aftermarket? you got wires?

anywho, it's str8 forward job...but it takes patients to do it right or else you'll be doing it over again. good thing are cars aren't put together well...panels pop right out. a good install shouldn't take no more than an hour.

be sure you mount the sub well into the box...good and solid.

Basically to break it in, just put that amp low. That amp is going to put just the right amount of Watts into that L7. So for about the first 2 days play it low. No real damage can come from playing it loud right away but its okay to lossen the coil a bit before putting it to the test. Its going to hit very nice. Installation is easy. Its basically 3 things. The direct 12+ volts cable (recommended 4g no thinner). The RCA's aka the feed, and the remote. All depending if you have a stock sterio or not will determine where you get your Audio. Just for advice, never run the audio (RCA) and the power cable together. Not recommended. Other than that i say i say if u do a good job hiding the wires and all that, should take you around 1-3 hours, depending on skills.
      good luck!

As far as break-in, read the manual. All subs need it, but you need to follow manufacturers specs. If there are , then just try to keep it at normal levels for the first hour of use. Treat it like you would a brand new car. You don't take an Enzo to 200MPH on it's first day, and you shouldn't go WFO on your subs either.
