  • Advice needed, slipping transmission

    ok my transmission in my 1995 z28 is going to hell, im looking at a new one not real into transmissions or gear ratios or anything like that
    how much more would it be to convert this automatic transmission into a 6 speed, or even a good 5 speed or what
    i am just wandering how much u guys think it would be to convert to 5 or 6 speed,
    and if that is alot im wondering what kind of automaic transmission to buy, thanks guys
    p.s. i do like speed

      Ive got about 2k and a weekend of labor into my conversion......
      96 WS6 Formula: Ram Air, 383 Stroker, Ported LT4 Heads and Manifold, 1.6 Crane Rollers, 58MM T.B., AS&M Headers, Borla Exhaust, Meziere Elec. H2O Pump, Canton Deep Sump Oil Pan, 100 HP OF TNT N2O!! , T56 Conversion w/ Pro 5.0 shifter, SPEC Stage 3 Clutch, Hotchkiss Subframe Conn., Lakewood Adj. Panhard Bar, Spohn Adj. LCA's, BMR Adj.
