  • Need a part #

    anyone know the part # for the ls1 oil pan for an f-body? and also the oil pick up tube? the gm site is pretty hard to find stuff in and im about to give up, thanks 4 an help.

    Oil pan # is 12558762, cost is $137.57 at GMPartsDirect.com.
    As for the pickup, I'm assuming that's what they cann the screen (), which is #12558251, cost is $23.35 at GMPartsDirect.com. Hope this helps. Take care man.

      well thanks 4 the oil pan but im not sur about the other one...lol cuz i donno if uve ever opened up n ls1 but the pick up is this long tube that comes from the front of the motor then almost to the back then it bends down into the oil pan, but it does have a screen on it... and ofcourse theirs no helpful picture, im telling u that site sucks lol. thanks alot dude, much help

        Then the second one is the right part #, because that's exactly what it looks like on the PDF file I looked up the numbers on lol. There ya go man

          AWSOMENESS!!!!! man u have no idea how much of a hassle u have saved me, thank u!!!!!!!! u r now my friend lol well yea atleast my lil motor will not rust inside.... can u belive y ive had 2 go thru this... since im swapin an ls1 in my car i had 2 cut 2in off the pan so i sent it to the company that does it in arkansas n then fedex "lost" my stuff...... unbelivable man, im never using them again lol well later dude thanks.

            Hey, not a problem man. Glad I can help . For delivery, try DHL/Airborne. I love their service and have never had anything "lost" with them. Do not, I mean DO NOT, use UPS. I've had stuff damaged, delivered late, even thrown away with them. Good luck on your project man . And, feel free to float any pics my way . Take care
