    Cause I know you all care to know...

    I bought some mac mids w/off road y and an ARP head bolt kit.

    I didn't really want MAC's because of the 1 5/8 primaries, I wanted 1 3/4, but AS&M and JBA are just so expensive. Not worth it's weight in gold to me... Are the gains going to be worth the extra $600 I'da paid? Or would a Cam and 350 bucks worth of other stuff (computer tuning, etc..) be better? That's what I thought too... Plus the headers came with a really good coating, not the stock mac mess. So I don't have to worry about paying for jet hot. No LT's for me, car will be lowered, it's out of the question in MI. Dropping it is stupid enough...

    It's comin' along.

    Headers

    Where did you get your headers????Are they ceramac coated?????How much for the headers and y-pipe????????

      Yeah they are 1 5/8" but of any shorty or mid length header, they by far have the best plug access...if you do that sorta stuff yourself.
      95 Z28, A4, 3.23's and some other stuff....

            I got my headers from camaroz28.com, the deals there are unbeatable sometimes. The guy got some jet hot long tubes and didn't want these.

            PBM (Paul barry motorsports) coated.

            I heard they have awesome plug access. Trace, here are some pics.





            The Y pipe will need a blast, then some paint. But for what I paid I really can't complain. I think this set costs around $600 coated.... Don't ask what I paid

              Get the Earls Pressure Master header gaskets. Locking header bolts are a good way to go also. I went with Stage8. The SLP bolts kept loosening up, and I eneded up with a leak and the gasket burned itself up. Also, probably time for LT4KM too.
