I asked some friends and nobody knew the answer to this so I though I might ask it here. Maybe it will turn out to be a good Friday diversion.
What gives congress the right to call MLB baseball players in to be questioned about illegal drug use? I heard it said that it was something about an anti trust issue. I heard there was some law passed many years ago that exempted MLB from anti trust law suits or something. Can someone explain it? I'm sure there is an article somewhere about it.
