  • OBD1 vs. OBD2

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between OBD1 vehicles and OBD2 vehicles??

OBDII cars have more sensors, and are more picky about mods. They have a crank position sensor, O2 sensors after the cats as well as before them, and a EGR vacuum sensor, etc...

They also can provide more detailed information when scanned.
