232,000 miles since I bought it new in Feb. 1994. Usual maintence stuff, but no grennades! I do stock oil at 5k intervals. OEM clutch made it to 130k (disc cracked, but not worn out).
The Old Guy! '94 z-28, m-6, t-tops, go-fast red, 316k. Now with '96 engine w/ Lt-4 hot cam, roller rockers, heavy duty timing chain, and Spec stage 2 clutch.

based on that, i say this:

ANYTHING MADE BY GENERAL MOTORS SHOULD LAST A LONG, LONG TIME.

Especially because the truck has THE ORIGIONAL MOTOR.

My 95 Z28 convertible has 180000 and still going strong. I change the oil every 5000 miles or so with Pennzoil 10w40. Still has the original clutch but I had to change the brakes for the first time at 151000 miles.
BTW, my 89 Cavalier now has 376000 miles and the valve cover has never been off the 2.0 liter 4 cylinder and it still doesnt use Any oil.

The LT4 came out in '96. It was originally put in the '96 Grand Sport 'Vette and later in 100 (I think) Camaro SS's and 29 or so Firehawks.
