I'm sure you're finding that ACDELCO plugs and wires are rather expensive. It's been a number of years since I priced them out, but you may find that there are aftermarket products out there that can do the same job for much less money.

Maybe someone on this board can pipe in with some suggestions....

The stock AC/Delco plug in mine had a tendancy to lose the little platinum pucks off the electrodes.... lose one and they opened up to about 0.080" gap, lose both of them and it was closer to 0.100". I switched to NGK TR6 with the bolt-on motor. Currently running Autolites for street driving and Champions for nitrous at the track. A lot of people like Rapidfires. I'd say avoid the AC/Delco platinum plugs, and any "gimmick" plugs like Split-Fires and multiple electrod Bosch plugs.

The AC/Delco wires are made by Packard, and they are good 7mm wires. A lot of people will upgrade to 8mm when they replace them. The MSD 8.5mm SuperConductors are good but hard to fit in the stock locations because of the excess diameter.
