squealing noise
08-12-2003, 08:47 PM
I lowered my car 2 inches with the eiback sportline kit. Now when i take turns theres a loud, metal on metal squealing noise. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Ken,
Does it happen on both right & left turns?
Does it happen on easy turns or hard turns or every turn?
Do you have an adjustable PHB? If so, did you re-center the axle?

It only happens on Hard turns, not easy ones, and it only happens on right turns. No i dont have an adjustable PHB. You think that would fix it?

Ken,
Bingo....
Check to see if the inside sidewall of the left rear tire is rubbing on the inner fender well at the forward end (like about 9 0'clock).
You need an adjustable PHB.
Want to try this one?

$124.95, Ken.
I'll ship it for free (as a favor to a fellow forum member). I have it in stock.
