see the person that sold it to me was a dealer... it had block sealer in it and i guess they didnt know... supposedly... i didnt drive it long after the block sealer blew out... i had to shave the heads to get the groove that the water made in them... the oil was never milky but no not too long and it just happed recently... the head gasket was six months ago

Ok i was going to say, depending on how long it was driven like that by the previous owner and if u had for a little while, antifreeze will eat away at the main and rod bearings causing a drop in oil loss. I did a set of head gaskets on a friends 95 Z-28 that he had bought from florida, and it was down to 25-30lbs of oil pressure tops, maybe 35lbs sometimes. I replaced the head gaskets about 6-7 months ago and it still had the same oil pressure obviously, but he beats the piss out of it now that it runs better, and it is still running strong. It was just a thought tho that maybe the previous owner had drivin it for a while and it could have been worse for them and it has eaten away at the bearings because of that. Just a thought for ya.
