  • Tranny fluid question

I just bought 4 quarts of GM syncromesh today because everyone has told me it is the best fluid for reducing noise in the T56 is there any truth to this. Anyone know of something better or if the syncromesh is good?

I had a 2001 Camaro SS and i drained the tranny and rear end and put in Royal Purple Syncromax in the tranny and the heavier rear diff lube, i think it was 85-150 or sumthing along those lines, don't remember for sure its been a while, neways i put those in it and i never heard any noises cept the ones u wanna hear, that being the tires squeelin and the slp exhaust rumbling.

I have always used Mobil 1 ATF synthetic fluid for the tranny. The only GM fluid I use is in the rear end.
