I just installed a new panhard rod. Now I'm looking into getting rear control arms and eventually sway bars etc. My goal is to make the car a well balanced highway monster. not a quarter mile warrior. Any suggestions you have would be great. thanks....

I recommend a shock tower brace and subframe connectors as well. Both are extremely easy to install and will greatly improve your handling. Other simple things like your front lca's, relocation brackets, better bushings, good shocks/springs, etc...will always help as wellblack 95 t/a, a4, beefed up tranny w/ higher stall converter, transgo shift kit, trans temp gauge, trans cooler, richmond 3.73's, loudmouth, hypertech programmer, 160 thermo, descreened maf, TB bypass and airfoil, trick flow intake elbow, underdrive pulleys, moroso cai, edelbrock panhard rod, bmr stb, slp sfc's, fiberglass firehawk hood, hawk pads, taylor wires, ngk plugs, royal purple fluids,...and hopefully more to come

Spohn, www.spohn.net and BMR, www.bmrfabrication.com have good, nicely priced products. You won't go wrong with either company. If you're looking for a nice stiff chassis to carve some corners and take the bumps well, consider these parts: sway bars, lower control arms, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, polyeurethane bushings, and torque arm. Lower the car would help handling too. In order of importance, for handling and ride, I'd do: 1) subframe connectors, 2) sway bars w/ polyeurethane bushings all around, 3)strut tower brace. The other parts I mentioned mainly affect traction at launch.Dave M

Which control rear control arms? Tube, boxed, rubber , polyeurethane,or combo rubber and polyeurethane. Keep in mind a smooth ride would be nice as well as performance. Since you're not going for all out performance and comfort and streetability is a factor, I'd suggest a tubular control arm with a combo rubber/poly bushing. The rubber one goes on the chassis side. If you want a little more performance and can sacrifice some noise and vibration, go all poly. Control arms mainly benefit straight line traction, though. From your first post it sounds as if you are more concerned about handling and ride confort. If that's the case I'd reccomend starting with subframe connectors or sway bars and poly bushings.Dave M
