  • need some input about LS1Edit changes to make

I'll be installing a TR224 cam and Stage 1.5+ 5.3L heads on this weekend. I already have LT's and hi-flo cats on it.

Does anyone have any experience or info on what to change with LS1Edit for these mods???

Any help and explanations on what needs changing, what it does, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!!!!

Did you have the LM7 heads milled, ported and put in larger intake valves - was that part of the "Stage 1.5"? The only advantage, even after all that is a higher compression ratio.... 10.9 without the milling, 11.5 with an 0.030" mill..... at least according to the Chris Endres LS1/LS6 book. Does the "Stage 1.5" increase flow appeciably? Flow data?

What you need to do with PCM will depend on how high you went with CR. Obviously the top end/PE mod needs fuel and timing adjustments. The bottom end will need some work depending on the specs on the cam, which I don't have. If that's a popular combo, someone will have a file for it. You'd be more likely to find it on one of the LS1 boards though.

The 5.3L heads were not milled, but it did have slightly larger intake valves installed, 2.055" intake valves and the heads were ported and polished.

      here are the flow numbers:
      Code:

      Lift Int Exh
      ---- ----- -----
      0.10 69.9 51.1
      0.20 140.1 114.8
      0.30 203.0 171.3
      0.40 251.1 220.8
      0.50 293.5 250.3
      0.55 309.2 260.2
      0.60 320.2 267.4
Thanks Fred, there is an LS1 board about tuning I believe I have a link for.

I need to buy that book.
