  • Opinions on Pirelli PZero Nero M&S Tire...

I'm looking for my 3rd set of new tires for my car...Previously I've had Continental SP 5000's and now have Firehawk SZ50 EP's. The Firehawks have been great! I have no complaints except that they wear a little fast for my liking, but that's the entry price for performance tires. I don't think they'll last through throught next fall.

I'm considering High Performance All Season tires since I'll see duty year round. The Blizaks handled this before, but now I have 2 cars and am moving to a warmer climate.

Tirerack has good things to say about the Pirelli's. Can anyone else chime in?

I have nearly 30,000 on my SZ50 EP's (got 1/2 driving season left).

I have been researching this stuff as well. It seems everyone seems to like the Goodyear GS-D3's , as they have a less-stiff tire-wall and seem to grip excellent in rain and dry road surfaces... but they are pricy

The next tire I have my eye on was the KDW they grip better than the KD in rain.. and they are fairly cheap, compared to the D3's .

Most people I know, have not tried the Pirelli's. But fro what the comparisons on tirerack... they are nearly the same but the D3's have a slighly better tread-wear rating.

I wish I could help you more but maybe, kerm (Wolfman) will give the best info ... I'd honestly pay money to see someone prove they know more about tires than him
