Not really. Most shops will give you free alignment checks and will also tell you what front end parts are worn. The actual parts are inexpensive - if you get the parts and use your local "loan-a-tool" programs, you might be able to do it yourself and save the labor costs. It's not really that hard at all to do . . .but if you have a shop do it, it is a lot better to do everything at once while it's apart . . . . . less labor that way.

The "better" you make your suspension, the more you are going to get pulled in different directions by road surfaces. So no, nothing you buy will "fix" it.
What Rob said is exactly right... one of the necessary evils for you to deal with when driving a high-performance car.Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.

The I-10 from about mountain until into LA is a washboard I wont even drive my T/A on it ..If the car works well on the 15 try the 210 (new freeway pretty smooth) I have started using the the 219 freeway and never touch the 10 If the problem is only on the 10 I would guess the car is fine.1997 Trans AM WS6 vert

Groove tracking does not have to be "normal". This means that you do not have enough toe in or even possibly a toe out condition. Wrong camber/caster can also exacerbate the condition. I have 285/40/17's on the front of my 97 TA with absolutely zero "groove tracking". This is eliminated by having both sides ever so slightly toed in.
I'm not really sure what you mean by your car was "flooding" to the left and right, but like 97LT1Z28 said, "loose" steering conditions are commonly caused by worn bushings, ball joints, and other steering/suspension components. A worn rag joint can also cause this condition.
Get under you car and inspect the sway bar end link bushings. Make sure they are not cracked or split. Make sure the end link center bolts are secure.
How many miles are on your car?

What air pressures are you running? High air pressures will make it dart around. I had somebody mount some tires for me and he left ~40psi in all 4 tires. I couldn't hardly keep it in a lane. I lowered it to 32 in front and 30 in the back and it was fine.2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning

It wouldn't hurt to have it looked at. But, don't be surprised if its fine. My Z does it all the time with the 245/50/16s on I-880 up here and some of the less-maintained streets. On a smooth road, she glides like a dream. Groove tracking is a pain to deal with. Make sure your alignment is fine and your tires are properly inflated and it shouldn't really bug you. Take care man
