Ready? Zaino'd Goat Hood

first, used the paint cleanser (he's comming out with that in a month or so). then a coat of zfx/z2pro last night, and one tonight, finished with a misting of z8.

i didnt special order this car, so it went thru the "shop rag car wash" at the dealer..... it had swirls.............

Not anymore..........

taken point blank with the macro on my fuji digi cam... no flash.. thats the overhead garage light......... im 4 inches from the hood's surface.

someone from another forum asked me to take the pic with a flash..... he's a prof. detailer.... and he's right, if you have any swirls... they will show up with a flash...but...they are not seen with the naked eye...under normal lighting... which is, as you know, what counts..

well... i took the pic..... guess she really passed the test this time......

That's pretty nice. Before I trashed my car commuting when I was in my masters program, my full detail job allowed me to read the 100w in the light bulb. I called my buddy over and we drooled over it for about an hour. It is always nice to put a good detail on your car. I spent a little time sanding the factory orange peel out of the paint, but I never finished. You can kinda see the smoothed nonorange peeled factory finish in my fender on the attached pic. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera on the 100w reflection so only my friend Rob and myself got to enjoy that one.

i've heard of Zaino, but never tried any of the products...where can I get them and how soon will the paint cleanser be available? I used the cleanser from Meguier's years ago for my white car and it worked ok, but I'm sure this stuff rocks...thanks

It is the best polish ever produced, at any price! Many of us on this board use it. For the beginner, try one of the starter sets that include zfx, z2, z6, z7, etc...
