i just picked it up and dropped it off at my buddys custom body shop. it will be done within the next 2 weeks. since i am good friends with the owner he is only charging me 180. versuus the 300 he quoted.1994 firebird formula

Congrats as well....it adds a little something extra to your car IMO. I loved it when i got mine, thought it looked so much better.
A side note, I know for a fact some aftermarket hoods require to be fitted to your car. You didn't state who made your hood, or if it was already used, so I'm not sure if this will apply to you or not. Basically, sometimes they are produced with 1/4" or so extra along the lip of the hood which needs to be shaved down. Make sure that your hood is fitted properly before you paint. I'm sure you don't want to have to be fabricating your hood to fit perfectly after a fresh paint job

well the hood i got was made by Tecstar??? so should i try and get my car up to the shop to have it fitted first? i jsut dropped it off. it was a brand new hood. also can i get any cash for my stock hood?1994 firebird formula
